Beveled Copper Post Caps feature rounded edges for a rather Art Deco look. They offer weather protection to your wooden posts with a little bit of flare. Fashioned from solid copper with 1” hemmed sides and 1 1/2" chamfer. These post caps are durable and non-corrosive so that your posts will stand tall for decades to come. Left as is, copper caps will naturally patina over time, but you may prefer to direct the patina with chemical antiquing or oxidizing products. A third option is to use a copper sealant to maintain that brilliant copper luster. We offer a large range of sizes as well as custom sizing, so that we can meet your project needs as well as aesthetic appeal. If you are cutting a post specifically for this cap, layout the 45 bevel 1" in from the outside edge of the post. A larger bevel will not be an issue with these caps, but if the bevel is smaller you may want add a fill piece so that there is not an air space between the top of the post and the post cap. In the unfortunate event that your post caps are damaged during shipping please contact us right away. We will happily take over the claim and mail you a new post cap as soon as possible.
